The Easy 3 Step Process:
Use the form on the right to tell us about unwanted furniture you’d like to donate to our Winsofrd Warehouse. If you can bring it to us that would be great, as you’ll help us out and save us money, but we are able to offer a pick-up service.
When you fill out this form, we will contact you to confirm your donation. We can only pick-up donations Monday through to Friday with morning slots between 9am-1pm and afternoon slots between 1pm-4pm, and we can only accept donations to our Winsford warehouse.
We’re lucky enough to have lots of donations (thank you!) but that does mean we are very busy getting them ready for the showroom. So you can expect your donation to be allotted a day within 7 days.
We can only accept goods that are in a good quality condition, suitable for reuse.
If you are donating sofas or armchairs, they must have the fire safety label attached. They’re usually attached to your sofa behind the cushions. If your sofa does not have one, we cannot accept it.
We are able to claim a tax rebate if you are a UK Tax payer and it would be really helpful if you could let us know if you would like to help in this way. If you agree we will send you a first letter for you to sign and return to us. How it then works is that we effectively sell the item as your “agent”. We sell the item and you donate the amount of money we sell it for. We will then send you a second letter outlining the details. After a few weeks we can then claim the tax back and this is a really helpful addition to our charitable income that helps us do what we do – Change Lives in Cheshire!
